Language in Bolivia

In addition to Castellano, Bolivia has 36 Indigenous languages as official languages; there is no single state language. Castellano dominates as the common language of communication, while Quechua, Aymara, Guaraní and many other languages are used regionally, in families, education, administration and culture. Language rights therefore depend on territory, need and situation and also include access to authorities and justice.
