Transport in Burundi

Burundi moves people and goods predominantly by road. Buses, taxis and motorcycle taxis supplement private transport, while walking and cycling are common in daily life but mostly organized informally. The Port of Bujumbura and the international airport connect Burundi with regional and international markets; there is currently no regular railway service.
