Media in Cambodia

Media in Cambodia includes licensed newspapers, radio, television, telecommunications and streaming, alongside social-media and creator activity. Mobile broadband and smartphones are the main access channel: in April 2025, Cambodia recorded 20,697,933 mobile subscriptions, 19,620,937 internet subscriptions and internet use by 68.48% of the population. The Ministry of Information, Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia, Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport have different responsibilities. Digital Media and Information Literacy (DMIL) means finding, assessing, creating and using media safely, responsibly and ethically.
