The application for removal requires the company’s financial winding-up to have actually been completed. The final accounts, liquidator’s report, evidence relating to creditors, and documents concerning the treatment of any remaining assets must present a consistent overall picture. The application must clearly identify the company and expressly request its removal from the register. The persons filing it must have the required authority to represent the company or a power of attorney. Names, identification numbers, dates, and signatures must be checked against the existing register entries. The NAPR reviews the information and evidence submitted in support of the requested removal. Missing documents or discrepancies between the closing documents and register data may affect completion. Once the entry has been made, obtain a current registry extract and check the company’s status and the date of removal. Keep proof of removal together with the final accounts, reports, payment records, and other liquidation files. Internal closure of accounts, access credentials, and records must be coordinated with the confirmed closure in the register.
