The National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR) handles business registration in Georgia. The regular registration fee for a company, such as a Limited Liability Company, Joint Stock Company, General Partnership, Limited Partnership or Cooperative, is 200 GEL. The regular fee for registering as an Individual Entrepreneur is 26 GEL. In both cases, processing takes one business day. This fee covers the selected registration service, but does not automatically include every additional service. Certification of a signature by the competent authority costs an additional 7 GEL. If an English-language extract from the register is required, it costs a further 26 GEL. Costs for translations, notarial services, apostilles or legalisations are also not included in the regular NAPR fee. Cost planning should therefore distinguish between the registration fee itself and any additional services required for the specific business formation.
