Packaged goods usually have printed information, but the final selling price may require confirmation. Check the item, amount, unit, and total before paying. Bargaining can be normal in bazaars and for some expensive or unpriced goods. It is less appropriate where fixed prices are clearly displayed, especially in ordinary food stores. Fresh produce, bread, dairy products, rice, tea, herbs, and spices are widely available. Product selection and shopping customs vary by region, season, and neighborhood. Receipts and written guarantees matter for appliances, electronics, furniture, and other costly goods. Service conditions may depend on the seller or domestic distributor. During major holidays, shopping areas can become crowded and opening patterns may change. Buying essential goods before busy periods makes daily life easier.
