Emergency care is for immediate danger, severe injury, sudden breathing problems, loss of consciousness, or other urgent conditions. Give the dispatcher the exact location and explain what happened as simply as possible. Medical communication is mainly in Ukrainian, although some professionals may also use English or another language. A trusted interpreter, written symptom list, and translated medicine names can reduce mistakes. Keep prescriptions, diagnoses, vaccination information, allergies, and regular medicine names together. Do not stop a prescribed medicine or replace it with a different product without suitable medical advice. Care access and payment arrangements can differ between public services, private providers, regions, and personal insurance. Ask what the visit includes and request written instructions for follow-up care.
